Judson's latest Tea Party concern is over House Speaker John Boehner. Judson is warning that the U.S. is in danger of a Greece-like financial meltdown if government spending isn't controlled. The Tea Party propelled the Republicans back to power in the House last fall and now the movement is FRUSTRATED with "Big Government Republicans" that want to continue business as usual in the hallways of Washington and don't want to balance the budget.
Judson is a graduate from Memphis State University and is the former Shelby County Tennessee assistant district attorney.

Article written by Judson Phillips on August 2, 2011 in Tea Party Nation Forum:
I was on Fox Business tonight opposite Ann Coulter who argued the Debt Crisis
deal was actually a GOP win. While we disagreed on that, there was one crucial
issue we did agree on and one crucial thing we must do.
The GOP and Democrats will soon be picking the members of the “super
committee” that will be making decisions and recommendations to the
Congress.
The Democrats are going to pick three very liberal Congressmen and three very
liberal Senators on this committee. It is imperative that the six Republicans
who are selected for this committee be Tea Party Republicans.
On the Senate side we must demand that the three come from Marco Rubio, Jim
DeMint, Mike Lee, or Rand Paul.

On the House side, we must have people from the House Tea Party Caucus. While
we have many more to chose from, the best three for this committee might be
Michele Bachmann, Ted Poe and Ron Paul.

Our last chance is to stop the lunacy Washington will visit upon us is by
getting the right people on this “super committee.”
The GOP’s reflexive position is going to be to put RINOs on both sides of the
committee. They will probably want to put the three Republicans who make up the
gang of six, who earlier this year tried to get the GOP to accept massive tax
hikes as a part of the debt ceiling settlement. Or perhaps just to stick it in
the eye of conservatives, McConnell might just want to appoint Scott Brown,
Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, which would guarantee Obama gets even more than
he wants.
As I have said on Tea Party Nation earlier, this whole deal is a very bad
deal. The Republican Leadership has a political death wish. That is the only
thing that can explain such stupidity.
We in the Tea Party need to put pressure on the GOP to put all conservatives
on this committee. They must be all conservatives. It only takes one of them to
follow the surrender early and surrender often leadership of John Boehner and
the Democrats will get the massive tax hikes that Barack Obama, Harry Reid and
Nancy Pelosi lust over.
If the GOP does not fill their half of the committee with solid
conservatives, we are lost.
