Robbie Wade was born in Knoxville Tennessee and moved to Chattanooga at the ripe old age of 7. On Robbie's 8th birthday; JFK was assassinated; but that didn't stop Robbie from being mischievous because that same day; he got a BB gun and shot a robin out of a tree at his Grand Daddy's house and that made his 'ol Grandpa very upset; needless to say; Robbie got his gun taken
away from him the very day he got it.
Robbie's brother
is Roger Alan Wade and they had a great childhood growing up in Brainerd around Chickamauga
Creek and Brainerd Golf Course located in Chattanooga. Robbie and Roger spent many a day fishing and exploring around
the creek. The two Wade brothers also played a lot of ball or what ever was in season.
Robbie became interested
in politics when he was a teenager from reading Ronald Reagan's articles that
were published in the Chattanooga Times Free-Press every day when Reagan was Governor of
California, Robbie says "I never dreamed Reagan would one day become President." Even though Robbie came from Democratic roots; he really admired Reagan's
ideology and became a huge fan. Robbie says "Ronald Reagan is still my top
political hero." Robbie has strong conservative convictions about politics and frequently writes city, state, and national leaders when he
feels like something they are doing is wrong.
Robbie opened up on own business in 1992 called "Parkway Billiards Bar & Grill Inc" and it opened the same day as the Tennessee Aquarium. Robbie ran his successful business for 18 years.
But, what is really important to Robbie is his personal relationship with God. Robbie says "the most important thing that I have ever done is accepting Jesus
Christ as my savior."
Robbie is also a loving family man and he and his beautiful wife Gaye Paty have been happily married for over 20 years. Robbie's all time favorite actors are John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Robbie's brother is Roger Alan Wade and his cousin is Johnny Knoxville from MTV's show "Jackass".
